Students Participate in Tax Day Activism

The Kansas University chapter of Young Americans for Liberty raised awareness on tax day, asking students to tax their GPA scores.

Many students support a progressive tax on wealth, but would not support it being applied to GPA, something they felt they had earned. The KU YAL chapter hoped to highlight this inconsistency, arguing that redistributing wealth is similar to redistributing grades.
